Print File Types

For the best high-quality print, a .tiff file is preferred however a hi-res .jpg is acceptable.

Print File Setup

The pixel size and shape of your uploaded image is what determines how the print looks upon production. For the best high-quality print, a 300 dpi image is preferred however a 150 dpi image is acceptable.

We recommend using photo editing software, such as Photoshop, Picasa, Pixlr, Gimp, or iPhoto to help you prepare your image.

*Aarting does not take responsibility for bad prints when a poor image is provided.

Print Borders

Each art print carries a .5" white border to make it suitable for framing. This means that an 8"x10" print will contain an actual maximum image size of 7.5"x9.5".

Odd Shaped Images

We do not crop, stretch or reframe your image. This means that additional white space may occur around your image if it doesn't match one of the specific print sizes listed above. For example, a square 8"x8" image will be printed on 8"x10" paper at 7.5"x7.5" (to include the .5" border) and will have white space equal to .5"x2.5"
